Paleohydrology is “the study of water use and handling by ancient people.”
Wright Paleohydrological Institute (WPI) is a nonprofit public foundation 501(c) with a proud record of research and education related to ancient water management. WPI was established by WWE founder Ken Wright and his wife, Ruth, in 1996 to apply their interest and expertise in water management to ancient cultures. Over the years, some of WWE’s best people have volunteered time to WPI’s study and outreach efforts. WPI has investigated paleohydrology of the following at cultures at the following places:
