Wright Water Engineers, Inc. (WWE) is a full-service water resource, environmental, and civil engineering firm based in Denver, Colorado, with offices in Glenwood Springs and Durango, Colorado.  The firm was founded by Kenneth R. Wright, P.E.,  in 1961 and is now led by Jonathan Jones, P.E., (Chief Executive Officer), Wayne F. Lorenz, P.E., (President) and Ken Wright (Chief Financial Officer).

WWE has a staff of approximately 45 people who include senior level engineers, hydrologists, scientists, biologists, chemists, geologists and hydrogeologists.  WWE professionals include

12 Professional Engineers (P.E.s),
4 Certified Professionals in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESCs),
2 State licensed Real Estate Appraisers (1 Certified General, 1 Licensed)
2 Certified Floodplain Managers (CFMs),
2 Ph.D.s,
2 Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals, and
1 Professional Geologist.

Most WWE employees have worked for the firm 10 years or longer and many are recognized experts in their respective disciplines.  WWE staff members regularly testify as experts, publish, teach continuing engineering education and are regularly involved with professional activities.

WWE works throughout the United States and has an active client list of approximately 250 clients.  We are characterized by long-term, highly satisfied clients, many of which have utilized our services for 20 years or longer.  Every year, we ask clients to rate us on a scale of 1 to 5 on subjects like clarity of communications, engineering competence and cost effectiveness. Our composite score is consistently 4.6 to 4.7.
